Privacy policy

This page explains how data is used when you visit this website, contact Gymaryx or use the app. Optional features are involved only when you enable them.

Data processed

The contact form collects name, email, subject and message. The app processes data needed for your account and chosen features: profile, routines, workouts, nutrition, measurements, photos or videos, Community content, notifications and security logs. Heart rate, calories and health data are involved only when you use those features and grant the relevant permissions.

Purposes and legal bases

We use data to answer enquiries and provide requested features (pre-contractual steps or contract); maintain security, prevent abuse and resolve incidents (legitimate interests); meet applicable duties (legal obligation); and, with separate permission, process health data or enable optional analytics (consent). You may withdraw consent without affecting previous lawful processing. Optional analytics are not required to use the app.

Health and sensitive data

If you connect Health Connect or Apple Health, the app accesses only the data types you authorise in the system. You can revoke those permissions on your device. Measurements, calories and workouts support the training and progress features you enable. Gymaryx does not provide medical diagnoses.

Visibility and Community

Community posts are shown according to your chosen visibility and profile settings. Progress photos and other private files are not posted automatically. Uploaded files undergo content review before becoming available; placeholders appear meanwhile, and rejected files are not published.

Providers and recipients

Gymaryx uses hosting and media storage, support and notification email, device notifications and, if you choose them, Apple or Google sign-in and purchases and health-platform integration. The external food catalogue is queried only when an item is missing from Gymaryx's own catalogue. Only data needed for each feature are shared. Some providers may process data outside the EEA under applicable safeguards; write to support@gymaryx.com for the provider and safeguards relevant to a specific operation.

Retention

Account data are kept while the account is active and needed for requested features. After account closure or deletion, data are erased or restricted through the deletion process and applicable legal periods; backups and technical logs expire on their own retention cycle. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer and document the enquiry. You may ask by email about a specific item or period.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction or objection, and withdraw consent where applicable, at support@gymaryx.com. State the right you wish to exercise so we can locate the account and verify your identity proportionately. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency: aepd.es.
